When we decided to start our own coffee business in 1989, we realized that it was a long term project requiring our long term commitment. We started as a small company dealing in hot drinks vending machines.

Coffee, as the principal product, represented the raw material of utmost importance and the process of selecion of raw coffee forced us to become familiar with coffee related issues in due course and to become acquainted with the process of production. Inspired by the desire to provide our customers with the top quality product, which would follow the pace of our continuous increase in the quality of goods and services we decided to launch our own coffee production.

When we started our own production, our vision was to provide the market with a product that would differ from the competition in the domestic market on the basis of its quality and approach and provide our potential customers with a product that they always wanted and deserved.

We began by importing high quality varieties of raw coffee into Croatia and we used them in our recipes. We knew that our offer included a product containing 70% less caffeine than regular coffee and it was less dangerous for health of a person and one step ahead of the competition.

As our customers awareness about the quality of our coffee increased so did our wish to enter their homes and facilities. Therefore, it was indispensable to build a production facility of our own that would meet all our needs. In 2008 we moved into a production facility equipped with a new production line completely in conformity with all EU standards. Furthermore, new technology allows larger-scale production as well as the extension of the present product line.

Besides the domestic market, we are present in several foreign markets today. Our representatives have to complete coffee making training courses. We are currently present in Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and China wher we have transferred our operating model and have started to develop the Caffe Monte brand as a high quality brand of coffee.
